Variable data printed on the plastic card

     Variable data is a type of dynamic printing and can be used on all kinds of plastic cards. It means that each plastic card can be printed with various numbers, codes, names, special characters, etc. Variable data is perfect for contact ic card, VIP cards, membership cards, loyalty cards and more.
     The variable data can be sequential number or random number according to your needs. For example, sequential number means that a serial number will be printed on each card within an array (as an example 001-251). Random number means that a distinct number is printed on each card and does not produce any kind of collection (for instance: AB001, CC01D ...).
     There are available process options for variable data, such as laser number, UV number, thermal printed number, spray printed number, embossed number.

Laser number

     The laser number is printed on the card with a laser engraving machine. This golden number is very durable and cannot be taken out or covered after a long period of heavy use.
 

UV number

     The UV number is printed using uv oil, similar to the spray printed number. The uv number font can be customized as your requires, but it is not as durable as the thermal printing digital.
 

Thermal printed number

     Thermal printed number using the thermal process can only be done if there is an thremal overlay finish on the cards (not available on matte finishes). Thermal printed number is only black and is visible on a lighter background, or add a white background behind the dark card area that will be thermal printed.
 

Spray printed number

     The spray number is printed with inkjet machine and the font will be dot matrix. It is the only way for variable data to be printed custom shape die cut cards.

 

Embossed number

     This number is raised above the surface of the plastic card using embossing machine, the same as on your credit card. We can emboss in several sizes in unique number on each card. The stamping foil process can be added to the raised characters in two colors: gold or silver.
