   The S50 chip card is a plastic card encapsulated with the original Philips (NXP) Mifare IC S50 chip, which complies with the IEC/ISO 14443A interface protocol. It belongs to inductive IC card, also called contactless IC card. There are many chip types suitable for inductive IC cards, of which s50 is one of them.
